- From October 2000 to June 2005 – Credit Monitoring Officer at Head Office Credit Monitoring Section under the Loan Review and Credit Risk Management Department of the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia.
- From June 2005 to December, 2006 – Internal Audit Team Leader at the Credit Audit Department under the Internal Audit Main Department of the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia.
- From January 2007 to November 17 2008 – Credit Business Process Reengineering study team leader.
- From November 18, 2008 to date – Vice-President-Credit Appraisal and Portfolio Management at the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia.
