Anees Ahmed Moumina has been Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Economic and Development Holding Company (SEDCO) since January 2013.

Mr Moumina has more than 25 years of experience in both private and financial markets.

Prior to joining SEDCO, he worked with Samba Financial Group (previously the Saudi American Bank). His last position at Samba was General Manager and Senior Credit Officer.

Throughout his banking career he has gained experience in a wide variety of business sectors, including contracting, trading, manufacturing, investments, real estate, transportation, leasing, public sector, remedial management, and Islamic banking. He also previously worked with Proctor & Gamble Saudi Arabia.

Mr Moumina is also a board member for a number of business, community, and educational establishments.

He holds a Master of Science in Engineering Administration with honors and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with honors from the George Washington University in the USA.

Mr Moumina has also attended a number of extended executive programs, including the Global Leadership Program at Harvard University and the Senior Executive Management Program at Columbia University.
