Introduction of your company & business:

Nissho Sangyo was originally established as a supplier of medical disposables. Over time, we have expanded our primary business areas to include the food service industry, in addition to our continued focus on the medical sector, supported by meticulous logistics functions.

Mission/Vision:

Previously operating as a "Total Supplier" by maximizing contributions to our customers through the supply of disposable items and unique logistics, we now proudly serve as an "Essential Supplier." Our commitment extends to supporting essential workers, related industries, and society at large, while actively seeking eco-friendly solutions. We firmly believe that survival in a world focused on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) hinges on being essential to society.

History:

Established in 1966, we initially specialized in supplying medical disposables. Our business expanded significantly in 1971 with the entry of KFC into the Japanese market. Experiencing substantial growth throughout the 1970s and 1980s, we strategically refocused on the medical sector by introducing our own brands, igniting further expansion. In the present day, we have seamlessly integrated a fourth business in the amusement field and continue to operate these ventures with unwavering commitment.

Key Products or Services:

We offer a diverse range of disposable items, encompassing everything from paper cups to gloves and masks, widely utilized in medical and healthcare institutions throughout Japan. Another significant aspect of our product line includes disposable items tailored for the food service industry, with KFC Japan being one of our major customers. Predominantly, our offerings for this industry consist of paper and plastic packaging, such as drink cups, takeout bags, and a selection of ambient food items.

Our comprehensive service not only involves the sale of these varied items but also includes the efficient delivery of products to medical supply agents and individual outlets of food service companies. This is made possible through our sophisticated nationwide logistics network.

Factory Equipment:

We operate four primary distribution centers across Japan. Each center houses a comprehensive inventory of items for our customers and is equipped to fulfill shipping requirements promptly. We take pride in our exceptional inventory control accuracy, ensuring minimal shipping errors and enhancing overall customer satisfaction.

Technology / R&D activities:

We are actively searching for environmentally friendly items worldwide to meet the evolving needs of our customers. This commitment is underscored by our President and CEO, who seeks recognition and engagement from developers of biodegradable, compostable, and related products.

International Operations:

While our current business focus is on the domestic market in Japan, we recognize the importance of obtaining valuable information from abroad and importing newly developed or created products. Therefore, we extend a warm welcome to overseas manufacturers who offer unique materials or products.

Business Achievements:

In early 2020, as the global pandemic unfolded, our company made the strategic decision to persist in supplying medical disposables, even as these items faced severe shortages and escalated prices. Despite the heightened risk of potential price drops and excess inventory, we were steadfast in our commitment to providing essential items. While many of our competitors chose to discontinue their importing business due to perceived risks, we persevered and achieved record-high accomplishments as a result.

Awards:

In 2017, we were honored to receive an award for the improvement of logistics in warehouse operations, thanks to the invaluable support of a university professor specializing in traffic jam theory.

Company Goals & Objectives:

The overarching goals and objectives of our company are explicitly outlined in our management philosophy, "Our Company's Belief." We take pride in contributing to society as an "Essential Supplier," supporting the essential workers who play a crucial role in the living-related and medical industries.

Furthermore, we firmly believe that only companies with a commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) can endure and prosper in the future. We aspire to showcase the value of our company in a manner that surpasses everyone's expectations.
